The Fallsview area of Niagara Falls continues to develop.  The hotels continue to get bigger and better.  The development has attracted more vacationers.  Now the area has added a much needed piece to the tourism puzzle.  The Scotiabank Convention Centre fills a large void in the Niagara Falls tourism infrastructure.

As Niagara Falls grows as a vacation destination, the accommodations for travelers have quickly improved.  Now Niagara Falls has hotels that rival any popular vacation spot.  But for years, the city lacked a convention center that could facilitate a variety of functions and, in turn, attract even more travelers to Niagara Falls.  But in April of 2011, all that will change when the Scotiabank Convention Centre opens its doors.  Now business travelers and social function coordinators will have a state of the art facility to host their events.

The Scotiabank Convention Centre is over 120,000 square feet of functionality.  It features an 80,000 square foot exhibition hall and a 17,000 square foot ball room.  Not only that, but there will be another 26,000 square feet available for meeting space.  There is a theater with state of the art acoustics for live performances as well.  Niagara Falls will quickly become a premier convention site.

The Scotiabank Convention Centre is located in the heart of the Fallsview Tourist District.  That means it is located right next to the Niagara Falls hotels that your clients and guest want to stay at.  The hotels include the Embassy Suites, Hilton, Four Points Sheraton, and Fallsview Casino Resort.  This makes a business meeting or social event even more appealing to travlers.  All of a sudden, Niagara Falls has to be on the top of your list when choosing a location for your event.
